President-elect Hillary Clinton

....not again! The appeal of electing our first president of color was not disastrous enough that we now must endure the supposed appeal of electing our first female president for no better reason then her gender? Only the selection of Whoopi Goldberg as her running mate would make this apparent 2016 Democrat nomination for president more absurd! What, she made us so proud as First Lady, as Secretary of State; that the prospect of her husband being First Gentleman, an impeached former president and proven womanizer, for some reason yet more appealing? And her "Miss Piggy" responses at the Banghazi inquires certainly spoke volumes to her inappropriate politics!
This is what it has come to? He or she who gets the most ink, the most notoriety (good or bad), suggests the greatest diversity in ethnicity, morality, skin pigmentation and/or gender gets the prize..., credentials, character, accomplishments be damn! Again, have we become so shallow-, so dumb that we can not fathom the consequences of our actions, our inactions? We as a society, as a nation are going down the tubes, and like the ninnies we are, are standing around in a funk witnessing our own demise?!
Hey as I see it, it's us against them! Them being career politicians in general! If for one minute you think they have our best interest, the countries best interest at heart, you have another thought coming! Their intentions might start off well and good, but once ingrained in the bureaucracy of government, the headiness of celebrity, power and control it affords, they become addicted to yet more celebrity, more power, more control. Along with it, a greater propensity for self indulgence, self preservation-,all to often indiscretions.Their reaction to any suggestion of term limitations and blatantly exempting themselves from rules and regulations they have imposed on their constituents, advises their awareness and tolerance for this deviation. Yes of course there are exceptions to this contention of mine, outstanding exceptions, but in this modern age few and far between! There is a crying need for changes in our political system, term limitation would be an obvious place to start! Being elected to office, should be honor and reward enough in the opportunity to preserve and advance our great American open society-, not an opportunity through guile and patronage to insure a lucrative career in politics. Our founders didn't intend it to be that way! We simply have to exercise greater discretion in choosing our elected officials, go far beyond vicariously serving their political career aspirations in hopes of personal gain; ferret out their hidden agenda that might be contrary to the good of the nation, the preservation of it's citizen's individual liberties and freedoms, and vote accordingly. Yeah right!

Where It All Began

....hard to believe is it not: the pilgrim's Plymouth landing, Concord's shot heard around the world, the Boston tea party, Paul Revere's ride, Bunker hill...., the environs of the essence of American independence, Massachusetts. Now a bastion of those dependent on government whim and fancy, government regulation and control; a dismissive attitude toward personal freedom and liberties; a preference for all things thought to be politically correct! Consistent, a sitting governor, aspiring presidential candidate, who like his President sees himself above the Constitution, above the state's legislated laws and protocol; free in his wisdom and executive privilege to govern accordingly, above the people! Could it be: This is the end of the beginning or is it the beginning of the end? Boston Strong but nationally weak!

Why Isn't Anyone Listening

Why aren't we being heard, there certainly are enough of us whining about this President and his Administration! Statistically we know as the electorate we are in the minority, but we are not overwhelmed; our numbers are legion. What then? I suspect the enemy within, and apathy! The so called Progressives have infiltrated our ranks with visions of a "World Order", taking our eye off the uniqueness and potential of our American-way of life, and a complacency that in due course everything will miraculously turn out for the better..,and probably a little bit of venal avarice to worsen the mix. Well, an ecumenical, all caring, all rectifying world order in the foreseeable future is simply not going to happen; as for everything will work out in the end, no it won't, look around you-, are things working out? Admittedly there is nothing I'd like better than to see President Obama hoisted on his own vanity and politically correct petard, but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for it. His political guile has proven much too formidable; his supporters mesmerized with his thought to be inscrutable countenance, committed to his agenda, no matter the consequences. But isn't it ironic his agenda is diametrically opposed to everything these United States are all about; what these United States were always all about; what these United States were founded on, prospered by; its citizens fought and died for here and abroad. Only to be forsaken by generations since totally insensitive to those principals, those aspirations, those accomplishments, those sacrifices! America in it's decline emerging as the home of the dolts, the land of the ingrates! That's why we are not being heard!

Taxes Galore

Anything made, anything bought or sold, any service rendered or received...soon no doubt, every breath you take so to speak, will be subjected to one or more town, city, county, state or federal contrived taxation! With their respective managements ever expanding, their rank and file's generous salaries and benefits sustained-, we can be assured there will be a scramble for creative new tax revenue for funding! The sources for that funding, that would be us, the tax payers! Forget about representation, forget about equity, forget about any semblance of quid pro quo. The agenda: nurture the insatiable beast, big government-, at any cost for any rhyme or reason! The essential component to realize that objective i.e to assure those taxes are levied and collected; the enabling politicians in power must stay in power! And how do they do that: sway the electorate accordingly. Sway? Can anyone spell entitlements a.k.a handouts, freebees! Do they see the "catch 22" here? Sure they do, it's short sighted on their part..eventually killing the goose that lays the golden eggs, but that has never been a deterrent to the anarchist, the socialist among us, the bottom feeders! It's defined as a contradiction in tactics: simply, the end justifies the means, albeit the end is the end of the society itself! So here we are in debt up to our ears, our financial demise eminent, with our current administration showing no inclination to curb our spending on behalf of the longevity of our society, our nation! The prevailing rationale, life is short so enjoy it for what it is, while it is! Never is there a consideration to tame the beast, curb it's insatiable appetite, In doing so, sap it's power and influence accordingly, it's stifling omnipresence in our society. What, risk the the chance of backlash from the state's wards, the kept-, breaking the vicious circle of patronage begetting power? Never!

What Goes Around Comes Around

Are we forever going to be hog-tied by our Political Correctness? I'm hearing way to much sympathy here in scarred Ole Boston Towne for the Tsarnaev brother's muslim radicalization.These poor Chechen immigrant terrorists just couldn't Westernize! When the enquiry was asked of a Boston politician," When do you think Dzhokhar Tsarnaev might be interrogated to ascertain what other mayhem he and his brother had planned to carryout, in light of the munitions uncovered in their apprehension"? His reply was in so many words: This 19 year old suspect was seriously injured and traumatized in his capture, his doctors will have to make that determination. Adding, but you can be sure no enhanced interrogation methods will be employed, certainly not wanting to bring up that whole "water boarding" issue again! Really!! How about we will wring every bit of information out of this murderer of innocent's scrawny little neck just as soon as we can get our hands on him-, of that you can be sure! Boston is going to be simultaneously revered for it's spirit and swift apprehension of these terrorist; admonished for its refuge status for dissidents, subversives, illegals and out right criminals in this bastion of ultra-liberalism!

Truth Delayed Is Truth Denied

How can we believe anything this President of ours says! He postures, he pontificates, he preaches-, he lies through his teeth! When caught in those lies, he pleads misinterpretation, a lack of comprehension and vision on our part, or his most effective ploy..., no comment at all..., as if he never said it! The numbers he throws around defy credibility in their bias manipulation and deceptive conjecture! Yet there he stands a paragon of his own celebrity, a hands down winner of style over substance! How one can rise to this level of leadership and be so lacking is an anathema to me. He can't be naive enough to suspect he is so loved, so privileged, so above the fray, so right in his judgement, so oblivious to the disorder he has wrought; that he is beyond retribution here or the hereafter-, can he? What kind of man is this who defies the traditions, the constitution of a proven nation, an accomplished free society for the socialist pipe dreams of his father. Barack Hussein Obama is that man! And, who has facilitated this hypocrisy, tolerated this atrocity to that nation, our republic..., we the people! Worst, we appear far beyond a saving wakeup call! God help us.

Boston's Own 9/11

Ironic is it not, the starting point of the 9/11 treachery, 12yrs. later finds Boston's Marathon desecrated by terrorism as well! This "New World" of ours is a strange and frightening place, where Oklahoma City, New York and Boston are no more immune to foreign or domestic terrorism than Beirut, Paris or London. There are angry dissidents among us without borders, without moral scruples, who are capable of the most heinous acts of violence! When innocents are targeted, "soft targets" as they are described, for their head count alone, no one is beyond their treachery! What is the source of this fanaticism, this vengeful hatred? You can blame it on our more liberal and violent culture, an obvious contributor, but the catalyst in my estimation is government, it's governors who initiate and enforce our laws, define the tenor of our morality and tolerance toward one and other's differences and proclivities-, distorted in their political biases! The "Golden Rule" lost in a deluge of self serving rhetoric and deeds, our humanity lessened in their imposed ambitions and greed! And here in these United States of America our empathy toward each other has waned considerably in the advent of our emerging culture of self serving takers, as opposed to benefactors, to followers, as opposed to independent thinkers, to diluted citizens of the world as opposed to Americans!
