Cloward and Piven

Yes I am somewhat familiar with the political activist couple and Columbia University sociologists Cloward and Piven. Essentially they espoused a strategy in the mid-sixties, to create a welfare state, to socialize America. Tell me does the crux of that strategy sound familiar: Force revision by overwhelming the current system with excessive spending and entitlements? The ultimate objective of the strategy, create a guaranteed annual income for all! Again sound familiar, how do you do that, why redistribution of wealth of course! Throw a little Saul Alinsky organizing tactics in there, a little Karl Marx bureaucratic order, a lot of Barack Obama and you have the worst of

all worlds!
