We are seemingly becoming a corrupt socialist bent nation, fostered by the Democrats’ agenda, and not realizing its dire consequences. Progressive income taxation, sales tax, state tax, property taxes, wealth taxes, licensing fees, payroll taxes, capital gains taxes, cap and trade taxes, whose revenues are doled out without the consent of we the people, disproportionately distributed to government employees and people who game the system, those choosing not to better themselves. The waste is unfathomable. This country was founded on taxation without representation, and yet here we are. If the dye is indeed cast, and this great republic of ours slides into the abyss of socialism, history will view us as spoiled, entitled ingrates that didn't appreciate what we had. It

What Is Happening To Us
It makes me suicidal. Maybe homicidal is more appropriate. All these Democrat bumper sticker simpletons protesting funding ICE and the war in Iran, and bitching about gas prices when our tax dollars are being vacuumed up by fraud and Democrat programs that amount to nothing more than redistribution. Meanwhile, Blumenthal from Connecticut led the Senate, raking in $80 million in the stock market in just the last year alone on only a relatively handful of trades. He even beat Pelosi’s tally, which ranked 5th. Tell me again why I have to pay taxes to support this level of banana republic shenanigans.
And on the heels of this rant, did you hear out of Chicago, where a Louis Vuitton store was attacked by a vehicle that drove through the front door, criminals looted the store to the tune of $700K in merchandise, and in their escape killed a man on his way to work whose wife gave birth to their first child the next morning. You can’t make this stuff up. The criminal mastermind was a four-time offender with warrants out for his arrest, a former gang member recruited into Chicago’s “peacekeeper program,” where “justice impacted” individuals are paid to be community mediators to reduce crime. This particular “peacekeeper” was being paid $150 a day by the city to fight crime. Uh-huh. But even more egregious was when reporters dug deeper and discovered that this program is a $1 billion enterprise in which non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the number one lobbying group in Chicago, coincidentally, receive government grants to fund these programs. Distributed after they skim a significant percentage, sometimes as much as 90% off the top. As Mike Slater opined, this is not an aberration. This is exactly how the Democrats want these programs to operate. More money is funneled to Democrat donors who kick back money to political campaigns, keeping the Democrat apparatus in power and the money flowing. Everybody gets rich gorging themselves at the taxpayer trough. It’s disgusting. And we wondered why the democrats were so vehemently opposed to Elon Musk and DOGE, and now Vance, with his newly formed department, is to root out fraud and abuse. Our republic is rotting from within, and it is appalling how many bureaucrats are benefiting from the decay.

Misplaced Partisanship
I read recently that Social Security is expected to be insolvent by 2032, with potential solutions including raising taxes and cutting benefits to seniors. How infuriating is that? If we eliminated all the entitlement programs for illegal immigrants and eliminated fraud and abuse in government programs, we could pay for Social Security in perpetuity and eliminate our national debt virtually overnight. Aren’t any democrats seniors? You would think not so, judging by the number of unhinged, gray-haired, white folks attending every preposterously moronic No Kings rally.

My Bad
I usually don’t condon body-shaming, intelligence-questioning or harsh language, but
can you believe the beaver-toothed, Botox-filled New York Governor Hochel telling conservatives: “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, okay. Get outta town. You don’t represent our values.” Apparently, their values supposedly are increased taxation, open borders, gender confusion, and an ever-growing welfare state. Conservative New Yorkers apparently didn’t get the memo, but this may be the best advice Governor Hochel has ever offered her Conservative constituents. Socialism anyone? A real genius public relations ploy, heading into the 2026 elections. Her political chops, let alone her intelligence, have to be questioned.

Taxing Us Silly
It is shocking the number of states proposing tax increases… even after posting huge gains over the last few years, with the stock market run and increased tax revenue from rising salaries and property values. And the usual suspects: California, Washington State, New York, and Rhode Island… blue enclaves. And the progressives are good with that? NY is proposing an increase in its already exorbitant state income tax. This tax-the-rich, Bernie Sanders socialist mantra is gaining traction. It’s class warfare. Not good. Mike Slater opined on Breitbart this morning that we are voting stupid people into office (Spanberger in this case) because we allow stupid people to vote. In days of old, we didn’t allow stupid people to vote; now everyone can vote, he lamented. We have spoken about this innumerable times. The Founding Fathers only wanted landholders to vote because they had skin in the game. Why is a property owner's vote counted equally to that of an unemployed, apartment dweller on welfare? Two sets of priorities, one based on what they can get from the other man’s labor.

Zelinsky The Ungrateful
“America bombs Iran and Zelinsky suddenly holds aces” reads the headline in the WSJ editorial section. How offensive. The author fawns all over Zelinsky: “ in his eyes that ardent cold flame…..”. And references the infamous Oval Office meeting where he claims that Trump, “that vulgar man”, tried to humiliate our President (Zelinsky). The headline harkens back to when Trump said he held all the cards, and the article implies that, with Trump now needing help with drone warfare, Zelinsky is the one holding them. How short political memory is. So what exactly has America received in return for the $188 Billion sent to Ukraine thus far, not to mention the drain on our own stockpile of weapons? Nothing but this gamesmanship, apparently. So, in return for our investment, when we need assistance, in this case drone technology, it is Zelinsky with his hand out once more, demanding compensation? Ah, remember the days when loyalty meant something in Europe? Tell me who’s vulgar.

Patriots Where Art Thou
Isn’t it amazing that the media is frothing at the mouth in an effort to prove that an American missile struck an Iranian school and killed children? Bad America. And of course, just like in Gaza, we are relying on the enemy to show us evidence of atrocities and taking them at their word. In this case, fragments of a Tomahawk missile were displayed on a table at the site of the strike. First of all, Tomahawk missile fragments are probably scattered all over Tehran, so they’re not exactly collector's items. And we can always rely on the Iranians not to lie to us, right? Secondly, the school was located next to a military installation. So the US is expected to launch a missile from somewhere in the Red Sea, some 2000 miles away, and surgically strike a single building in the city without damaging anything else? Control the blast and strike the right structure with precision. Assuming we identified the correct target and our GPS coordinates were correct, the missile’s guidance system operated correctly, the signal wasn’t jammed, the missile wasn’t fired upon, and a myriad of other variables weren’t in play. Why are we expected to have no casualties, no collateral damage, and wage ethical war with precision while the enemy fires missiles and drones indiscriminately at civilian targets? It’s war…stuff happens. And third on the list: who puts a children’s school next to a military installation? Oh yeah, the Islamists do. Haven’t we seen this before in Gaza? Weapons stored in hospitals, tunnel entrances in civilians' homes, and using the population as shields. Then use civilian casualties as propaganda. This is starting to look like asymmetrical warfare, the kind we conducted in Vietnam, where we are subjected to a stringent set of rules that don’t apply to the enemy. Just the fact that the enemy is taking photographs and posting them, let alone assembling en masse in the public square to celebrate the appointment of their next tyrant, is evidence that the population has no fear of being targeted and still has available conveniences…… like electricity. We haven’t targeted civilians, and they still have an intact power grid. We are going out of our way not to inconvenience the population at large by targeting only military installations and support systems for the regime. So the media is critical of casualties, collateral damage, and not being able to finish the mission in a timely fashion. That’s nuts. If the goal was simply to defeat the enemy, we could just turn the entire country into a parking lot and call it a day. You barely post-pubescent talking heads in the media, and those with an agenda probably don’t recall Dresden. Yeah, look it up. So enough with the criticism, the complaints, the armchair quarterbacking, the second-guessing, and leave the conduct of war to the professionals, or at least someone with knowledge of what is actually going on. But mostly, rally behind the flag, be skeptical of the media, and never, ever listen to the left, especially when they gloat over our missteps and hope for our failure.

The Irrational Leticia James
Can you believe the arrogance of New York AG Leticia James, “ordering” NYU Langone Hospital to “resume providing gender-affirming care to transgender youth” after the procedures were discontinued under threat of losing funding from the feds. How is it that the party of science can’t read the data? Not unlike their fascination with wind power, climate change, and COVID precautions, they seem incapable of separating science from politics. Just because you spin the language, “gender affirming care” does not actually affirm the patient’s gender, it affirms their delusion that they are a gender inconsistent with their DNA. Period. Cutting off a young woman’s breasts and fabricating a Frankenstein penis is an ethically questionable exercise for the surgeon, but no more makes you a man than a beak and a tuxedo makes you a penguin, regardless of your thought process. And to call it “medically necessary” is another example of subterfuge. The data is clear coming out of Europe, who has been at this nonsense a lot longer than we have, and determined that gender transitioning has no effect whatsoever and in fact may actually increase the rate of suicide in this group of, cue the histrionics, “most vulnerable New Yorkers.” Tish should stay in her lane, one restricted by tight guardrails reflective of her narrow intellect, and continue her transparent efforts to pad her resume by bending the law to benefit her career advancement.

Patients Exhausted
And of course, the naysayers are claiming that Iran was complying with international guidelines, was not seeking a nuclear weapon, was not building an ICBM, and was not enriching beyond 3.5 percent. With their history of stalling, subterfuge, hiding their assets, jerking around inspectors, and saber-rattling, we are going to trust the mullahs suddenly? Of course, Trump is going to be criticized because that’s what the media does, but after 47 years of proxy support, terrorist attacks, and destabilizing the Middle East, enough is enough. Trump appears to be the only president with the fortitude to do something about it. What’s the alternative? Continue appeasing them until they deceive us and acquire the bomb….and then what? That policy worked out so well with North Korea. And suggestions by publications for the deranged, like SLATE, suggesting that we should revert to the Obama deal, are just preposterous. One source even applauded Iran's willingness to “suspend” enrichment for three years, conveniently expiring after Trump leaves office, in the hope that Americans will vote another spineless democrat into the White House. And if they have no intention of enriching uranium, why have our satellites shown so much activity at the bombed nuclear sites? Maybe it’s just an ideal spot to bury the 32000 protesters the regime executed. And enriching uranium for peaceful purposes is nonsense. They have been offered enriched uranium for a nuclear reactor and medical purposes, so why would a bankrupt regime choose to have their own enrichment program? And with the facility in place, the jump from 3.5 percent to weapons-grade is not that much of a leap. No, sorry. You had your chance to behave like civilized members of the global community, and instead, you continue to behave like heathens from the 13th century.

Democrat Divisiveness
The media didn’t blast Trump directly, but it’s been a steady drip-drip of doom and gloom ever since the State of the Union… and the Wall Street Journal has been no help at all. Only the stock market and unemployment received accolades, whereas inflation, wages, manufacturing, trade deficit, job creation, and housing got designated as “needs improvement”, “shows promise”, “acceptable”, or merely “satisfactory.” Not exactly a glowing endorsement. The President has been in office for just over a year, and all these benchmarks are showing improvement. Did anyone think that four years of Biden’s disastrous policies could be reversed overnight? And nobody seems to be considering the alternative. We could have had Kamala talking rubbish and Tim Walz being….well, Tim Walz, while we continued to whistle past the graveyard. And by all means, not trending upwards fast enough? Let’s install a Democrat majority in Congress in the mid-terms and finish the rest of Trump’s tenure in impeachment hearings….and then ensconce the pretentious Gavin Newsome in the White House. Sure, that’s a plan for success.
And, I rant on, even the men’s hockey team is getting raked over the coals for being “props” and the women’s team widely praised for not attending the SOTU…..although not in protest but apparently due to a scheduling issue. Yet the media keeps insisting that it was an anti -Trump stance, and even Trump's comments to the men’s team in the after-match phone call are being painted as somehow distasteful and misogynistic.
This is how propaganda works prople: relentless repetitions of distortions until you believe them. The WSJ continued its subtle attacks with an article claiming Americans are fleeing the country for a more affordable and safe life abroad. All Trump's fault, of course. But those numbers are unimpressive. Many are retirees looking to stretch the dollar, and others are seeking the own-nothing-but-experience lifestyle that some of these European socialist nations offer. Others can afford a European getaway in the work-from-anywhere digital world, where an American salary goes a long way in countries with stagnant local salaries. Good for you. If European-style healthcare, small homes, and backpacking are your aim, have at it. But is losing 10,000 Americans to Ireland or 15,000 to Portugal, really a big deal in a country of 350 million people? Especially if many of them are retirees….no offense, but they are no longer in the workforce and thus not contributing to GDP. So, if they want to live out their retirement years overseas, let them. But don’t use that as a slight against America. So we’re big and expensive. But, aren’t we also all about a free market economy, upward mobility, and achievement

Sternberg Revelation
Joe Sternberg, in his WSJ editorial on Germany’s demographic decline, summed up socialism in one paragraph: Any entitlement state is vulnerable to demographic decline, which diminishes the proportion of working-age people available to fund it. European welfare states are especially vulnerable in this regard because they tend to provide strong disincentives for work among those of working age while paying unsustainably generous benefits to retirees.” Bingo. Americans should take heed with a keen eye on the current New York City experiment in “democratic socialism.”

Eileen Gu Embarrassment
After Vance questioned why Eileen Gu, an American-born freestyle skier, an American-raised Stanford University student, elected to represent China in the Olympics, The Hill resorted to criticism of Vance’s comments and excuses referencing other athletes who “expressed mixed feelings about representing America…..given some of the policies of the Trump Administration.” Really. So you choose to represent one of the foremost abusers of civil rights, an oppressive communist regime, instead? Or maybe it’s the $6.6 million that the CCP pays you a year, a part of the $23 million a year you make through sponsorships and endorsements in that capitalist system that most people in China can't access. Hypocrites. Virtue signal all you want, in the end, it comes down to money, doesn’t it?

Truth Be Known
Who in the Democrat party appears to have our best interests at heart, who is not feathering their own nests or seeking power, who on the left has proven to have any noteworthy intelligence? Perhaps Shapiro and Fetterman have shown hints of moderation and capable governance, but other than that, not one. And with Rubio cutting a wide swath overseas of cooperative unity and purpose at the Security conference, we have a sideshow featuring AOC, Newsome, and Hillary, invited by our European adversaries, to disrupt this administration’s agenda. What country invites a cadre of critics and political opponents to a conference supposedly asposing peace and security to counter another's official envoy? I will tell you who, false friends posing as allies and proponents of Democracy.

What Is Happening To Us
I have trouble with the WSJ complaining that Florida has hobbled job growth by requiring verification of work authorization on new hires, stating that one-third of Florida’s construction workforce and one-half of farmhands are undocumented immigrants. Simultaneously, we hear that job participation amongst able-bodied American males in their twenties is at an all-time low. Analyzing this data, one can only conclude that we require cheap immigrant labor to do jobs that Americans are unwilling to do because they have been given the option of sitting on the couch and being subsidized with taxpayer dollars. Further, studies show that the first wave of immigrants is willing to do the work, but once they are established in this country, their children are more likely to adopt the posture of American-born couch potatoes. If that is indeed the case, this country has a significantly greater problem than immigration alone.
These figures also jibe with reports that 70 percent of military-age Americans are unfit for service, failing to qualify by not meeting physical or mental standards. The creep of socialism is debilitating our workforce.

American Bashing
So we had to endure another rendition of the alternative national anthem at the Super Bowl, by Charlie Puth and anti-ICE sympathizing, Bad Bunny celebrating everything except America, and now all these US Olympians using their platforms to disparage America over policies they may not agree with, but are supported by a majority of Americans who democratically voted for them. First of all, these brainless journalists with an agenda have to stop poking the bear and asking these adolescents leading questions on topics they have no business commenting on, having lived cloistered lives in training surrounded by a cocoon of trainers, coaches, family and like minded athletes. They made it to the Olympics based on athletic talent not their acumen in government affairs, geopolitics, economics and immigration, let alone pesky little details like the Constitution. Further, this attempt to paint Trump as being a threat to the LGBTQ community is preposterous. There are gay members in his administration that he chose based on their abilities, not their sexual orientation and he has never shown a bias towards the Ls the Bs or the Qs. Now if not allowing men to compete in women’s sports is your definition of discrimination against the Ts you probably should take a survey, because polls show that the LGBs are not all that enthralled with the Ts on that issue. And neither are actual female athletes. So how about we stop looking like opportunistic asses on foreign soil and stop criticizing the country that got you there. It’s a bad look. Come home and join an anti-ICE protest, move to Minneapolis, adopt a Somali…..whatever floats your boat. But until then, stop airing our dirty laundry with our flag on your chest at the Olympics. It’s unbecoming and alienates half of your country. We want to support you, to like you, to cheer you to victory. Please don’t give us a reason not to.

Hypocrisy Reigns Supreme
The hypocrisy of the left on display. Most recently Billie Eilish as an example, the 24 year-old pop star and one of the current poster children for the entertainment industry’s penchant for the bizarre and gender confusion. Her rant at the Grammy Awards “No one is illegal on stolen land” failed to account for her multi-million dollar mansion recently constructed on the Native American Matobe tribe’s claimed sacred land, the same stolen land where she reportedly spends exorbitantly on security, presumably to keep out undesirables. So, in other words, we have a proponent of open borders who has built a fortress on stolen land where she enforces its borders. Really? Like the leftist lunatics that took over the streets of Portland, the first thing they did was set up checkpoints where they demanded to see your papers to keep out those that weren’t like-minded liberals and essentially establishing……you guessed it: borders. They argue that we all live on stolen land; therefore, there can be no borders. As a result, nobody is an illegal immigrant, discounting centuries of shifting borders, wars, and conquests that have shaped modern civilization. If we discard all that history, we are discarding governments and countries as mere mental constructs, and we descend into chaos. And with that, the concept of property goes as well. You have publicly demonstrated your unawareness and hypocrisy beyond the pale. Billie!
Fort Worth Bellwether
The democrat turnout in the polls in Fort Worth, flipping a staunchly Republican congressional district, is not a good sign. It is becoming apparent that Americans want to virtue signal above all else and are easily manipulated by false Progressive narratives. The immigrant kid in the bunny hat, the saintly ICU nurse, the mom just dropping her kid off at school, the Maryland dad. And don’t even get me started on George Floyd. And the media propaganda machine keeps churning it out. Has anyone heard about the thousands of missing immigrant children that ICE has recovered? Nope. What about the Trump accounts putting money in the pockets of the next generation, giving them a piece of the pie? Not that either. Drug overdose deaths down, violent crime reaching historic lows? Uh-uh. And where did all the news of massive fraud in the Minnesota welfare system disappear to? All overshadowed by hysteria whipped up by progressive politicians and their media mouthpieces to distract from real accomplishments. Enforcing our laws and maintaining our national sovereignty be damned. Americans want convenience, free stuff, and above all, to appear righteous. Laws of the land and our standing on the world stage are no longer even considerations, and most are too complacent
to realize the long-term impact. Measles anyone?

Grotesque Grammys
And we have the remarkably self-absorbed Grammy Awards crowd of misfits, and weirdos, breathlessly celebrated by the media for their cutting-edge fashion and artistry… but especially their political acumen. Even Don Lemon got a standing ovation from these deviants.
Like anyone with an IQ above 100 needs to be guided politically by Bad Bunny, Machine Gun Kelly, Tyler The Creator, or perhaps Justin Bieber who performed in his underwear. Lady Gaga with her head in a basket? Check. Or maybe Chappell Roan (who?) appearing topless, replete with nipple rings, on the red carpet. Talk about desperate for attention. Perhaps a Grammy nomination should come with a voucher for psychiatric services, though I suspect most of them are already regular couch occupants.

Rotten Apple
I’ll tell you, the Apple News feed is on full throttle. They are trolling for anti-Trump articles wherever they can find them. Reading the posts, you would suspect that his policies are all failing, inflation has failed to meet targets, the economy is in freefall, the American public favors open immigration, all our allies hate us, he has illegally killed innocent fishermen in Venezuela, and he has made healthcare unaffordable. We are going to lose the midterms unless we have a remarkable economic boom and figure out how to right the healthcare ship that Obamacare sunk. Screw foreign policy, Americans don’t care. All they care about is money in their pockets, especially when somebody else is putting it there.

Oh Peggy, My Peggy
Peggy Noonan is at it again. She criticized Trump over his spat with Canadian PM Carney, admonishing, “Friends” don’t speak to each other this way. When is she going to figure out that Carney, and most of our opportunistic world leaders, for that matter, are not our friends? He ran for office on a resist-Trump platform and has done everything he can to fulfill his pledge. Canada has been engaging in unfair trade practices with the US for decades, along with the rest of our NATO “friends,” and like most welfare recipients, they now assume that level of subsidy to be the status quo. And Trump is right that Canada benefits from US protection, making Carney’s chest thumping and posturing not only insulting but rather short-sighted for a country so geographically close to Russia, which, along with China, is making aggressive forays into the Arctic. Friends can have disagreements, especially when one is taking advantage of the other, and sometimes tough love is required, but you don’t run into the arms of the enemy. That’s no friend, Peggy!

Reflections on Davos
Davos. Where the Europeans and attendees at the world economic forum were like small children, complacent in the warmth of socialism of their own making, their stagnant GDPs reliant on decades of living under the umbrella of US protection, having been allowed to suckle at the teat of US taxpayer cash, paying rent on military bases, doling out billions of dollars of aid to buy their loyalty. Their economies are benefiting from lopsided trade agreements. Now, with Trump practicing his America First policies, they act like petulant children and run to gain favor with the nearest source of cash, in this case, another superpower willing to buy their allegiance. The most glaring example of late being Canada’s PM Carney, infected with a chronic case of TDS, bending the knee to Xi and the CCP, potentially letting the fox in the henhouse on 5525 miles of common border with the US. Surely this is a case of 'better the devil you know,' especially given this administration's finite life span. China’s, not so much. They’re in it for the long haul with a goal of world domination. And speaking of which, how about Venezuela? Do you leftist nitwits think this was all about cocaine trafficking? Simpletons. Maduro was cozying up to China, allowing them to secure mineral rights and oil concessions, run their ports, and maintain a military presence on the ground, training local forces and supplying technology in our hemisphere.
Not on Trump’s watch. Where exactly does China procure the vast amount of energy to further its AI ambitions? You got it: Venezuelan oil, Russian oil, and a flotilla of ghost ships. And what has Trump done? He has seized the oil cargo and impounded the tankers, removed Maduro, and now controls Venezuelan oil production and sanctioned the crap out of Russian oil. Simultaneously putting the brakes on China’s AI ambitions, preventing more rare earth mineral acquisition, removing Chinese influence from our backyard, and, as an aside, has reduced overdose deaths in the US by 20 percent. That sounds like a win.
And why wouldn’t Trump push for ownership of Greenland? What we are currently being offered is like the dreaded triple net lease. Pay rent on military bases, pay for improvements, subsidize their welfare state, but in the end, you own nothing. Home ownership versus renting an apartment. How well has that worked out for us in Panama, where the canal, built by the US at great expense in blood and treasure, is now run by Panama and being parceled out to the CCP so they can effectively cut off our Navy’s access to unhindered, efficient movement between the Atlantic and the Pacific theaters. And the Middle East is littered with US airbases and equipment given up to the enemy. Afghanistan and Iraq are the most prominent examples of flushing taxpayer cash down the drain. And what happens when the kingdom of Denmark, population just under six million, continues to allow the Muslim invasion currently taking place? Will an Islamist Denmark in 20 years allow China to gain a foothold in Greenland to destabilize the great satan? Denmark’s ability to defend Greenland is laughable. And besides, it’s in North America, directly in the path of potential incoming ICBMs originating in Russia and bound for the eastern seaboard. Russian submarines must also pass along Greenland’s shores to prowl the Atlantic. Thawing sea ice is making passage through Arctic waterways vital for trade and military dominance. But after Denmark promised to apply funds for security, the earmarked cash ended up in social programs for the island’s 56000 welfare recipients. 56000, incidentally, is the entire population of Greenland. It’s like a bigger Puerto Rico on the rocks. With 57 times fewer people. Do we need more of that? Not really. But Trump is playing three dimensional chess while the rest of the world, and our media, is dabbling in checkers. By all reports, Trump has turned the World Economic Forum on its head and once again may be coming home with a deal.

The Democrat Message
Democrats are in favor of unfettered immigration and lawlessness to pad their voting base. It’s apparent and sinister. Nobody seems to notice that in red states where there has been ICE activity supported by local law enforcement there has been no violence, no unrest, no protests, no BLM style occupation, no tanking businesses, and no media coverage.

The Muslim Wave
You have to question all these European leaders from the UK, France, Denmark, and Belgium, all playing tough guy with Trump, when back home their countries are going to hell in a handbasket. Copenhagen has a 10% Muslim population, now the second most popular religion in Denmark. London has a 15% Muslim population; Paris, 15%; Brussels, 25%. They are being invaded and don’t even know it. And you wonder why Trump is concerned, why all we Kafirs, as they call us, should be.

Leave Sports Out Of It
What’s with this latest example of bird-cage liner posing as a respectable sports news source? Athlon Sports recently ran two headlines accusing Troy Aikman and then the Kelce family of “refusing to apologize for their political views.” Apologize? Naturally, both Aikman and the Kelce clan appear to be conservatives but certainly not radical right-wing ideologues, and they are definitely not vocal about it. At least not as it seems to anyone with a normal functioning cerebral cortex. Aikman’s sin, apparently, was donating money to the Republican Party. Heavens. Instead, Athlon Sports, part of the Athlon/Parade division, should apologize for posing as a legitimate source of political commentary, and Apple News should stop going out of its way to promote leftist propaganda in its news feed, especially from sources with limited credibility in politics. Athlon Sports, having made a name for itself by publishing football annuals, merged with liberal-leaning Sports Illustrated in 2022 but is now independent and is likely seeking attention by posting controversial headlines. Interesting in that the Athlon Outdoors division is responsible for multiple firearms-oriented publications, including “Combat Handguns” and “Tactical Weapons,” that probably don’t appeal to the same crowd applauding the headlines condemning conservative football stars. Apple has a huge captive audience by virtue of its iPhone sales and should be widely criticized for its left-slanted newsfeed. Athlon should stay in their lane.

Insanity
It is insanity. When the protester was shot, she was interfering in the arrest of an illegal immigrant who had sodomized a child. Similarly, the illegal immigrant who was shot in the leg yesterday was a child rapist, shot only after two protesters started beating the ICE officer with a shovel and a broomstick, and he joined in. These people are unhinged. But apparently, the rule of law is subject to interpretation. It’s okay to bilk the taxpayer out of billions of dollars if you’re Somali. It’s okay to attack law enforcement officers to protect criminals if they’re illegal immigrants. And it’s now okay to ignore a congressional subpoena if you’re a Clinton.

The Tragedy Of Minnesota
I am so angered by how the media immediately painted a sympathetic picture of the suburban mom and her “partner” just dropping their six-year-old off at school and wanting to “help their neighbors” when she stumbled into the ICE operation. Just a sensitive poet. In the words of Minneapolis’ provocateur mayor, Frey: “bullshit.” Turns out she’s a professional agitator who left the country for Canada after Trump was elected, received training in activism, joined an anti-ICE organization, and was quoted as being a “warrior.” She sent her six-year-old to a woke charter school to train the next generation of activists. She is not a native Minnesotan, having moved there because it was the center of resistance. One of her compatriots praised her for her well-trained skills. In what? How to endanger her life and the lives of law enforcement and get herself killed? How did that work out for her? Wouldn’t you think the mother of a six year old would applaud efforts by the federal government to remove illegal aliens engaging in child sex trafficking and sexual assault from our streets? Or is this just another case of brain rot brought on by advanced stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome? Actions have consequences. Something this generation has never been taught.

Obsessed With Mamdani
That smirk on his face suggests he knows he has put one over on us. Throw in all his references to freebies, taxing the rich, and supporting the Collective, is just beyond the pale. It’s Communism 101, and the base that supports him is oblivious to being had. Through liberal education and government handouts, we have spawned an underclass of unproductive, self-serving sloths. Further to my annoyance, to think Bowdoin College, one of the most beautiful, picturesque New England small colleges of reputation, contributed to the education of this privileged little twit, is unsettling. And to further my angst, I live in New England and witnessed the contraction of this sociolist malignancy and the fostering of its metastasis in its governance, to be but a cry in the wilderness.

What was that sound?
It was our Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves as a “socialist” with his right hand on the Koran was sworn in as mayor of America’s largest city. It will be interesting to see if Kathy Hochul, who appeared to be ok embracing Mamdani’s socialist policies, despite claiming the impossible that she wouldn’t raise
Ok, taxes will move more to the center now that Elise Stefanik has dropped out of the governor’s race. The question remains: without the threat of Stefanik launching an attack from the right, will she be less inclined to appeal to the radical left to garner support from the base, or will she now be uninhibited in adopting those radical policies and become a loose cannon? Make no mistake: Mamdani referred to the “collective” in his inauguration address. And, can you imagine Mamdani proclaiming that he “will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.” He is a Marxist—a communist. The only thing “democratic” about his “socialism” is that he was elected. Congratulations, New York, you let it in. And as the voting statistics show, it was overwhelmingly skewed towards voters who were not born here, Blacks, those living in housing projects, women, those making below the median income, and those under the age of 30. This is right out of the Marxist playbook. This, comrades, is class warfare. Exactly how Mamdani will be able to institute his plans for free child care, government-run grocery stores, and free public transportation without a significant tax increase remains to be seen, and he will require Hochul to fall into lockstep to accomplish any of it. If so, Hochul may go down as the governor who presided over the largest mass exodus of state population to friendlier tax climates in history. And they will take their businesses and their tax base with them.

Mathamaticly Challenged
Watching the crowd of Mamdani supporters, call them socialists, or perhaps simply opportunists, chanting “tax the rich” at his inauguration was laughable. The usual cast of socialist nitwits was in attendance, including AOC, Bernie Sanders, and the perennial Lefty Susan Sarandon. Interesting that Hakeem Jeffries chose to avoid the spectacle. That may have been the smartest thing he’s ever done. Once again, the more you move to the left, the less it seems you can comprehend simple mathematics. The top 1% of New Yorkers pay 47% of the tax burden. The top ten percent pay 72%. And the rabid crowd, most likely representing the bottom 50%, pays a paltry 0.2% of taxes. Exactly what percentage constitutes paying your “fair share?”
