I don't know where to begin. I see where the Biden administration is taking the country and am more than alarmed that we are letting them do it. Our traditional and once sacrosanct rules of governance, explicitly defined in our Constitution, appear to be compromised; we are adrift in a sea of contradictions and confusion. The death toll of our society is ringing loud and clear, yet we can't seem to be able to stem the tide of misfortune. Endless vitriol by talking heads sounding the alarm but seemingly to no avail, at least not to circumstance. The mindset appears to be, wait until November, and our designated White Knight, Donald J Trump, will triumphantly ride in and save the day. To me, such wishful thinking emphasizes we, the people’s hapless impotence, have lost our voice, being strung up on our own democratic petard. Am I to say, alas, poor America, I knew ye well? Wake up, America; we’ve got to revive our once indomitable spirit of independence, one for all and all for one in the pursuit of life and liberty. It may be our last chance as a nation, as a society.
