Maher And The NPR

Interesting in that Katherine Maher, the CEO of NPR at only 41 years of age, possesses a resume devoid of educational achievement and newsroom experience but chock full political positions. A lackluster BA from NYU was followed by a succession of appointments to positions on the Council of Foreign Relations, UNICEF, the National Democratic Institute, and the US Department of State Foreign Affairs Board. Aside from an alarming amount of hubris, an overwhelming sense of self-importance, a frightening explanation of the concept of truth, and a mother who serves in the Connecticut state assembly, what exactly qualified her for the position of CEO at NPR? Perhaps Uri Berliner was on to something
