Who Are The Organizers

As I pointed out, there is nothing spontaneous and organic about these Palestinian protests. The tents are the same, the posters and signs are all commercially printed…..some deep pockets are obviously funding these protests. These posers sure as hell weren’t up all night printing banners at the local Staples. Sure, there are students in the mix, but not all of the protesters are students at that particular university. There are also some older protesters in the crowd, and it’s alarming how most of them are women. What, no pro-choice rallies this week? And apparently, an Ivy League education nowadays seems to instill some more contemporary skills in these students. Gone is the proficiency in the classics and an appreciation for art and literature, replaced by vulgar, obscenity-laced, anti-Semitic temper tantrums and violence towards police. I long for the days of water cannons, rubber bullets, tear gas, and billy clubs. They need to bust some heads. That would be an education for them. We need more stick and less carrot. As an aside, I recently met a college senior at an extraordinarily liberal northeast college widely known for incessant protests for the cause du jour. I jokingly asked him why he wasn’t out protesting. “I’m a science major,” he said. “We don’t have time for that nonsense. Those are all the liberal arts majors out there who have way too much time on their hands.” All for $80000 a year.  And will the justice department use facial recognition to hunt down the protesters throwing chairs, throwing bottles, and storming police barricades like they did the J6 insurrectionists? Of course not. This is the Democrat base. Like their sign at Columbia proclaimed: we believe that Black Lives Matter and that science is real. Good for you. I hope their parents are pleased with the return on investment. And to all the parents of the students whose campus experience has been ruined by the antics of these miscreants, I suggest you sue the university blind. With their bloated endowments after years of supporting liberal policy, they can afford it.
